Well I had a GREAT time at my mom's mtg. today. Next week is the last meeting for it but we're going to try to continue it on at least biweekly and take turns at each others houses or meet somewhere. There are only 5 of us so it's really nice! We stayed 1 hour past the time that it ended today and we could have kept talking more and more!
After my group I ran into one of the OBs from my practice and talked a few mins. Had her check for me to see if the high risk docs were in that I used to always see at the hosp. but they were off. Then she checked to see if any of the nurses were in Triage that I used to see all the time for my NSTs and the 3 times I went to the hosp. for my pinched nerve. One of them was there and I saw her and the other girl will be there next Wed. so I'll stop by then. I can't wait to see her as she helped me out almost every time I was there! It's so good to visit people that had helped you out in need during your PG!
Two times today Sam started crying when someone else was holding him but as soon as I took him he was fine!
And lastly Sam is definitely going through a growth spurt! He's downing a couple 5 oz. bottles now a day! And taking more naps but still short ones. Tonight he fell asleep on Steve around 7ish, woke up at 8 and we gave him a bottle and he was asleep at 8:20! We brought him upstairs, I changed his diaper, swaddled him and he took a little bit more of the bottle and was out cold. Put him down in the crib at 8:30 and he was OUT! yippy! 1st night for that so I hope he STTN and we can continue this! I am surprised as I got him off schedule when I was out earlier!
I wish every day was as good as today was!
Tomorrow I take Sam to the Pedi again to check on his weight and make sure he's on the right dose of Prilosec. He's been doing good the last few days except still spitting/vomiting his med at times.

3 months and changing fast!
Wow- I've really noticed a difference in Sam today!!!
To begin with, yesterday was a very busy day as we had my New Mommy group at the hospital and then took the train into Boston to visit Steve at work. Today was Steve's last day at his USCG job so his co-workers wanted to meet Sam. We had a very good but LONG day yesterday and I think Sam and I were both recovering from it today. Yesterday he was so good, hardly fussed at all while we were out for 10+ hours. Today he was GRUMPY and wanted to be held all the time. He would not nap and only slept 7.5 hours through the night last night. He puked on me when I finally got him sleeping! that Alimentum smells AWFUL!!! Had to bathe him and I took a shower afterwards! Had to swaddle him in order for him to calm down and nap. Tonight I was trying to get him to sleep with his arms out of the miracle blanket but that didn't happen. He was crying for a bit so I finally went back in and rewrapped him with arms in the blanket! Now he's sound asleep (I think).
Besides the crying today from being overtired he finished three 4.5 oz. bottles and was very happy and content just sitting in his infant seat in the kitchen while I cleaned up the sink, etc. He is laughing out loud more, cooing and trying to talk.
I have to say that the last few days I've relaxed more too and am not so much on edge! I don't feel as "afraid" of if he's going to start crying again or what's going to happen next. Finally at almost 14 weeks I feel a bit more "normal"! haha!
Ok I'm tired and will write more soon. I should have started this blog a while ago.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE and am SO IN LOVE with my Baby Sam!!!
